Morning Courses
ELC staff is dedicated to providing English courses of the highest quality to international students. By employing highly qualified and dedicated instructors and by utilizing a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum, ELC provides the perfect environment for rapid language improvement. Students can choose between two great options for their Morning Courses. Morning Courses are held between 9:00 am and 12:30 pm every weekday. Students may choose up to one course per week. Students of all levels may register for the Semi-Intensive English Course; students must be at a High-Intermediate level or above to register for the Entrepreneurship Course.
Students studying in our Semi-Intensive English Course will learn the rules of grammar through communicative teaching methods. Through speaking and writing, students will improve their abilities and pronunciation, as well as practice listening to and understanding native speakers.
- Levels: Beginner to Proficiency. Up to 5 Levels. ELC’s multi-level placement ensures that students are placed in the correct level for Grammar and Communication Skills.
- Lessons (perweek): 20 lessons per week (15 instruction hours per week)
- Lesson Duration: Two 45-minute lessons and one 90-minute lessons per day from 9am-12:30pm
- Start Date: Course starts on the Monday following the Saturday program start date. Start any Saturday during the program dates. Minimum one week.

ELC offers high-intermediate and advanced junior students the option to join a two-week Entrepreneurship Course. In lieu of English language classes in the morning, high-intermediate and advanced students, have the option to join a content-based leadership and entrepreneurship course. The available start dates for the Entrepreneurship Course will be July 1, July 15, and July 29 depending on the campus. This course is offered exclusively to high-level students who no longer require daily instruction in English language skills. Students will take a placement test before they register to determine if they meet the level requirement to participate in this course.
- Levels: High-Intermediate to Advanced. Student must pass a pre-test to enroll.
- Lessons (perweek): 20 lessons per week (16.67 instruction hours per week)
- Lesson Duration: Two 40-minute lessons and two 60-minute lessons per day from 9am-12:45pm
- Start Date: This is a two week maximum course. Students may take Semi-Intensive English Course before or after.
